Story and a half for my new character XD

Oh, two thoughts. One: The Kingdom could be a new land taking over what used to be Akena, or at least in the same plane of existance as it, so as to make 'the old Nivrithi' an actual entity, or Two: Shade was entirely a hallucination of 'the new Nivrithi', an altered paradigm where he thought a man was teaching h everything where he eas really only teaching himself. Either or works for me, and both are mind-bogglers to Nivrithi Vidala.

Hey! Sorry, as I already told Dan Saturday is Merlinday, so I usually watch the episode, talk about it on skype with my friends and then rewatch it ahahahaha. I'm a little obsessed, maybe.

Sure. I'm not sure what type of personality to give her. I know for a fact that she has instinctual sorcery, and was born with it, which is rare becase most sorcerers develop magic later in life, if at all. I'm not sure if I want to make her mean and badass, or sort of a little weaker and in need of assistance (cause I never play those characters and it would be a change)

Also I sort of want it so that she doesn't use her magic often, even though she's really gifted, and relies more on combat skills. I want her magic to be a ~secret~ and a last resort, but cant really come up with a situation as to why.

Of course you could have her personality change depending on the situation she's in. Example: normally, she's confident and a bit of a badass, but when things get heated, she caves a bit.

Maybe give her enough physical prowess to give her the excuse to rely on that rather than magic?

To be honest, Octavius was born with the ability to use magic, but it needed to be brought out.

A suitable situation on the lack of magic use could be the fact that due to the magic being inborn, therefore unrefined, magic the character won't use magic without being a last option to ensure the magic doesn't go too far.

Inborn magic may be dangerous and unrefined, though Nivrithi and Fyre refined theirs presumedly through practice over extensive periods of time, Nivrithi being trained by Shade and Fyre likely by scroll/book/teacher.

As for personality, any option you choose will still work in your favour, IMO
