Elwyn couldn't help but move a little protectively in front of Fyre before reaching to open her pouch. The man may have sheathed his blade but he still had powerful magic, and it made her a little nervous. She opened the draw strings before pulling out the collar, hesitantly handing it over to Nivrithi. She wasn't one to back down on her agreements, unless it was necessary.

"Here. Though I wonder if you'd really want to continue your work for the royal family if you knew the truth," Elwyn mumbled the last part.

Nivrithi sighed, taking the collar and roughly attaching it around Fyre's neck, several clicke being heard as it locked in place, "It was only a concern of wanting to work for the family at the start," he grumbled, "His Majesty and his...subordinates are a bit strict with breeches of contract..."

He started walking back towards the cave opening, "Alright, onwards towards the capital!" he called back. Suddenly, a strange sensation reverberated in his eyes, he knew what was coming. He deftly grabbed a coil of rope from his pocket, lobbing it back towards Elwyn, "Be a dear associate and bind the prisoner's arms, please?" as he kept walking, he changed the collar key's position to his belt, the metal jingling a bit at his side in the faint light of the cave entrance.

His mask hid the purple aura around his eyes, as well as a nervous frown. He felt like he wasn't ready, even though he was as ready as he could be.

For a moment, Fyre's head drooped, then a sudden electric shock coursed through him making him shiver violently. The Spell. It was still active even when he wore the collar! He began to wonder if he could use it to his advantage, but his mind was still in poor shape, using the spell might drain him completely. Might.

Elwyn caught the rope, but didn't even look at Fyre, let alone move to bind him.

"If he goes back with you, what will happen to him?" She asked, knowing that if she didn't like the answer that she got, she couldn't guarantee she wouldn't try something to get Fyre free. She eyed the key that Nivrithi secured to on his belt. She knew that with a quick flash of her eyes she'd be able to snag it away from him, but then she'd reveal her magic.

[Spectre]

Nivrithi sighed, nothing was going to plan. These two could only make things worse for him, but he dared not discuss that, instead choosing to address Elwyn's question, "He will stand on trial of magical capability, murder, arson, and everything else we know he's done. If-, no, when he's proven guilty, a date will be assigned for a public execution in the capitol city. It'll be gruesome, but it's entirely necessary to keep the citizens in line."

[Xinjay]

Elwyn gestured to Nivrithi and looked at Fyre pointedly. "And this is what you want?"

[Merolg]

Fyre remained silent, face tilted downwards in submission, but within his mind he was gauging how much energy he had available to himself, if the Spell subverted the restrictive magic of the collar, would it be possible to overload and destroy it? Maybe. But if he did destroy the collar and escaped with Elwyn, the king might become enraged at the assassin and kill him, thus obliterating a part of the Spell. Dammit.... My Master probably knew that something like this would happen, I need a Plan B and fast... He thought.

"Assassin, I do have a question. How long have you been in Ascetir?"

[Spectre]

Nivrithi sighed, turning back to the two, "Enough stalling! Hold up your end of the bargain already and let's get going!" he snarled, losing his patience.

[Merolg]

Turning to Elwyn, back to Nivrithi, he held up his forarms, hands limp, "Do as he says Elwyn." A glint shot through his right eye, unseen to Nivrithi.

It was time for Fyre to make a gamble.
